Life changing not-for-profit based in Mascot area is seeking a Process Design Lead to join the team on a 2 year fixed term contract.

You will be responsible for supporting the organisation to review, map and enhance critical and time consuming processes across our global footprint.

This is a newly created role, to support the need for a more streamlined and efficient operating model. The scope of this work is global and there will be some travel involved.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Process Design - Lead and facilitate documentation of current state process maps, issues and opportunities. Facilitate Lean or similar workshops to re-design future state to reduce or remove duplication, re-work, lag time and contribute to required system enhancement specifications using the future state process designs.
  2. Process Change Implementation - Develop comprehensive and easily understood process documentation and support the Process and Change team to develop training plans and change plans associated with new process implementation
  3. Country Management Support - Support the country cluster teams by engaging, consulting and collaborating with the process and change partners in each cluster, incorporating local conditions and uniqueness to ensure to-be designed processes are suitable and supportive of local needs.
  4. Business Operational Support - Act as an extended member of the global business operations team to support all work streams, divisions, teams and offices to improve their processes and efficiencies
  5. Capacity Building - Act as coach and mentor to continually build country team knowledge and understanding of process design, efficiency and change management principles. Embody a culture of partnership and support by exhibiting a strong say-do ratio.
  6. Reporting - Contribute to, review and support all organisational, divisional or country based reporting requirements.

Skills and experience required include:

  • Previous experience in Organisation-wide process design and optimisation, including workshop facilitation, process design documentation (Lean, Kaizen etc), systems, process and change
  • Previous experience in documenting and communicating process design concepts, procedures and day to day practices
  • Experience overseeing organisational change with respect to process and system change initiatives
  • Experience working on large dispersed project teams with multiple work-streams and complex stakeholder groups
  • Previous experience working across a global organisation with the ability to work across multiple cultures will be highly favoured, as will experience working for a charity / not for profit organisation
