Chandler Macleod is now recruiting for and experienced Qualified Diesel Mechanic. Our client based in Clayton, is an industry leader in Recycling, Industrial Services and Waste management.

We now have a position vacant for a Trade Qualified Diesel Mechanic to assist in their repairs and maintenance department working on a Heavy Combination truck Fleet.

Potential candidates will need to be trade qualified, hold an LF ticket, HR License and possess truck maintenance experience. Your role will require you to perform repairs on trucks, trailers and forklifts plus general workshop duties as required.

Applicants with welding experience, familiarity within the auto-electrical industry and HC Licence will be looked upon favourably.

Operational Hours will be Monday– Thursday from 2pm-10.30pm. Fridays from 10am-6.30pm.

Applicants must be flexible to accommodate overtime and some weekend work where required. This position will commence on a Casual ongoing capacity with a view to permanency for proven performers. Immediate start available or flexible starting date for the right person.

You will need a committed attitude, strong work ethic and with your mechanical background and aptitude it’s expected that you will be able to “hit the ground running”.
