Our client is a market leading manufacturer of large scale equipment servicing the mining & industrial sectors. With manufacturing plants across the country, they are a growing business that have the luxury of providing job security and growth in these uncertain economic times. Due to an internal promotion, they are currently seeking an enthusiastic and determined product tester to join their team in the western suburbs.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role are:
• Evaluation of raw materials for laboratory processes.
• Examination & testing of returned products.
• Mixing and testing of new compounds.
• Assisting in laboratory with routine testing, when required.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
• A minimum Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques.
• Good technical skill and a passion for R&D.
• A methodical approach to your work with an enquiring and analytical mind.
• Good mathematical and computer skills.
• The ability to work independently and in a team.
