With their business poised for growth, an outstanding opportunity has become available for a highly motivated, experienced and professional individual to become an integral part of the QC Virology department.

The Virology Department is responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks and biological testing such as the following:

• Routine maintenance of cell cultures.
• Laboratory housekeeping and ordering of consumables.
• Perform a number of assays (potency, serum neutralisation and egg culture).
• Media Preparation.

Reporting to the QC Virology Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring that you produce exceptional service, with a key focus on:

• Providing a service which meets and exceeds customer requirements.
• Working as an effective team member whilst taking responsibility for the quality of your work.
• Participating in process improvement activities.

To be successful in this role you will have a tertiary qualification in Microbiology or a related discipline as well as demonstrated experience in the Pharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of TGA and FDA regulatory guidelines. You will have highly developed organisational and interpersonal skills that will enable you to successfully liaise with people internal to the business in order to achieve targets and objectives.
