Covering all types of media from print, broadcast and digital our client are dynamic national news agency. They are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join a rapidly growing area of their business.
Dealing with a variety of industry sectors your primary focus will be;
- Acquiring new business revenue
- Developing sales plans/strategies to grow the business
- Developing/Maintaining customer relationships through regular calls and visits
- Working alongside management on key accounts
- Managing the sales process: Identify needs, prepare proposals, negotiate pricing
The successful candidates will possess;
- Solid sales experience with the ability to sell solutions and win business
- Strong communication/interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to develop strategic relationships
- Experience in the use of databases and be computer literate
Ideally you will possess experience in a corporate sales environment preferably within the media, advertising or a related field. You will be a strong team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting your team. You will have the support of experienced managers and will be joining a great team! Intensive product training will be provided. An interest in news and current affairs will be highly regarded.
