The Opening of this new showroom has led us to look for a permanent part time storeman. Deliveries are large with containers coming in twice a week. As the only store man you will be responsible for unloading the containers with the help of the retail team, accepting deliveries and transfers of stock, Unpacking and managing stock volumes, keeping ahead of the paperwork with a keen eye on discrepancies and helping move and position the stock in the showroom. This role will require heavy lifting and is mentally challenging,so being physically fit is essential.

Job Spec

• Wednesday and thursday 8-5.30 & a Saturday 11-3
• Good base salary
• Permanent role and guarenteed hours
• Busy environment and small friendly retail team
• Immediate start available

You will need

• Experience in a similar role, stock room / storeman type position
• To be physically fit and healthy
• A sense of urgency and the ability to be flexible with hours if needed
• The role is predominantly 20 hrs a week over Wednesday Thursday & Saturday
• You may also be required to help with sales on the shop floor in busy periods.
