We are working in partnership with one of Australia Agricultural market leaders to secure applications from experienced Regional Operations Managers to join their team based in St George. This is an exceptional opportunity to join an extremely establish but expanding Agribusiness with a rapidly growing international network. 
 
 
Reporting to the Executive General Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for prioritising capital expenditure requirements and all financial activities and results across the South West Queensland region. This amazing prospect presents the opportunity to join the Global Management Team and as such offers the potential for international advancement. This pivotal role plays a critical aspect in ensuring the company achieves its goals in relation to market share, accumulating of contracts, managing grower relationships and resolving grower issues. You will be charged with controlling and driving all strategic activities including sales, operations and stakeholder management to ensure results.  
 
 
The successful candidate will be well positioned to grow the profitability of the region and improve market share through utilising you superior leadership skills to building strong relationship with the regional teams and client networks.  
 
 
Ideally you will possess a few essentials: 
 
  • Masters / Bachelor degree in Agribusiness or equivalent  
  • Broad exposure to a wide variety of technologies, plant operational practices and the agricultural industry  
  • 7 + years leadership of a multi-site operation preferably in an agricultural, or manufacturing environment  
  • Significant experience in a business development role preferably in commodity accumulation  
  • Strong project management skills  
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office  
  • Current unencumbered ordinary drivers licence  
  • Strong business acumen  
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills including issues resolution  
  • Strong administrative, organisational and problem solving skills
