Our client is an iconic luxury fashion brand with stores in over sixteen countries worldwide. Due to recent growth, they are now looking for a high calibre Operation Manager to join their team in Shanghai

Responsibilities

• Monitor and drive sales performance of all the stores in China
• Ensure all goals and sales targets are met by providing leadership, directions and first line support to all stores
• Provide directions in selecting prime locations and operating stores in compliance with the promotion of the brand image
• Review and evaluate existing merchandise and make recommendations and implement plans and strategies to improve penetration into the region
• Formulate strategies and work closely with other functional departments to ensure the business direction is appropriate and well positioned to achieve its goals and objectives
• Develop marketing and promotional plans for each season and collection to enhance brand image and stimulate sales
• Provide in house training and product knowledge for sales staff so as to ensure the sales team is able to provide excellent service to customers
• Responsible for shop pre-opening preparation including site inspection, planning and co-ordination with all relevant parties
• Ensure the visual display is up to the companys standards
• Plan, organize and execute trunk shows/ events for individual shop to boost sales

Requirements

• University degree in business administration or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of experience in retail management of high-end fashion
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent in both English and Putonghua
• Energetic, responsible, hardworking and self-motivated with creative approaches to problem solving
• High level of taste and fashion sense
• Able to travel extensively within China
