Our client is a major global public relations agency renowned for its strategic communications planning. They are looking for a Associate Managing Director for their Consumer Marketing practice to lead all accounts and contribute to the professional development of staff.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years experience in managing clients, developing communications programmes and account teams as well as handling P&L. They should actively identify problems and provide solutions, participate in new business development and mentor their team. The ability to ensure quality for a variety of accounts is mandatory as is being familiar with both traditional and new media. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, PR talent to advance their career.

Less experienced talent will be considered for the role of Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level strategic counsel to clients for consumer campaigns, product launches and more
• Lead a variety of accounts, actively grow client relationships to expand business capabilities
• Develop creative integrated communications plans and ensure quality delivery on budget and on time
• Develop and follow up any new business leads
• Recruit, mentor and manage the practice
• Act as a company ambassador to represent the agency through networking events, corporate communications and speaking engagements
• Drive teachings and key learnings around communications practices and methodology
• Be responsible for practice profitability and P&L of business

Requirements

• At least 12 years communications experience in public relations, with agency experience mandatory
• At least 5 years experience handling P&L and team development
• Fluent Mandarin and English critical
• Consumer communications experience
