A prestigious watch & jewellery company is looking for a high caliber candidate to join as a Assistant Manager /Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Review and set up standard operation procedures, policies and guidelines for each department, including report formats, KPI settings
• Identify and establish internal control points within the operation flow to ensure the companys assets are properly protected
• Review and monitor progress of the policies and procedures and its execution, initiate improvement if necessary
• Perform internal audit function to ensure the adherence to the laid down procedures, policy and guidelines; report write up on audit review and suggest areas for improvements
• Liaise with headquarter and internally re compliance with group insurance policy, application for insurance coverage, and any project insurance coverage needs
• Maintain a contact depository database for all contracts of the company and monitor expiry and the renewal process
• Report to Finance Manager, Controlling and the Finance Director for any control weaknesses and its improvements

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting/Finance preferably with professional qualification such as HKICPA/ACCA
• At least 5 years relevant experience with minimum 3 years experience in a professional firm or in internal audit function and in a supervisory role
• Solid experience in business operation flow and control concept and functions;
• Excellent organizational and analytical skill
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Hands on and able to work independently and under time pressure
• Experience in SOX and ERP System will be a plus
• Good report writing skill and good command of both written and spoken English and Putonghua
• Less experience will be considered as Senior Accountant
