This mine is currently looking for a Senior Project Engineer Civil (Infrastructure and Earthworks) to support our Engineering Department. Reporting to the Projects Superintendent, this position is responsible for the Planning / Execution of Site Based Capital Projects. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership to the Project Engineers/Coordinators in the Engineering Department
Working closely with stakeholders, site personnel, consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve project outcomes
Development of scopes, budgets, schedules, resource requirements and quality criteria
Development of business cases, contracting and execution strategies
Delivery of projects within scope, budget, schedule and quality parameters
Management of safety and compliance requirements
Project reporting The successful candidate will have:
Tertiary qualification or equivalent industry and/or organisational experience
Technical knowledge and experience with the planning and execution of infrastructure and earthworks projects in the mining or equivalent industry (+6 years)
Team leadership experience
Professional qualities that demonstrate an ability to be outcome focused
