Our client is a leading contractor within the mining industry. With a long term contract in place, they’re looking for a suitably qualified OCE to join their team.

Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will use your technical knowledge to manage day to day activities within the pit. You will be responsible for performing risk assessments and statutory checks.

To be successful, you will have:
• Current NSW OCE’s ticket
• Minimum 2 years Coal Mining experience
• Demonstrated experience managing a large workforce
• Experience working in a large scale mining team

In return you will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $80 (flat rate) and a great roster.

To be considered for the position, you must be willing to relocate to the Gunnedah area. There are no camp facilities available.
