An extraordinary opportunity has arisen for an expert on Laboratory equipment, with market knowledge and technical background to develop and expand this global company's product range.

Based in the Brisbane office and reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales and account plans, to work autonomously and to achieve customer satisfaction. As an expert with respect to the competition you will liaise with other account managers to maximise sales through cross selling, as well as spending time in the field assisting customers.

To be successful you will ideally have the following:

• A degree in a relevant scientific discipline;
• Prior experience working within a laboratory setting;
• At least 2 years experience in a customer or competitor environment;
• An understanding of the sales process and drivers of successful business
• The ability to perform under pressure;
• A commercial focus and good business acumen;
• Lateral thinker and driven self starter;
• Excellent communication, presentation and rapport building skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work with people across all levels and backgrounds.
