The Chandler Macleod Marketing Team has a unique opportunity for a Desktop Publishing & Marketing Co-ordinator to join their successful team. The focus of this position is to contribute to the successful execution of the marketing strategy for the Chandler Macleod Group, working as part of the Corporate Marketing team. Key responsibilities include: • Deliver high quality Desktop Publishing support to meet the needs of internal and external customers • Successfully manage the promotional product requirements of the Group including supplier management • Support the Corporate Marketing Team in execution of major marketing campaigns and projects • Act as the first point of contact for general marketing requests • Administer the Corporate Intranet • Assist in content and SEO updates for the Group websites as required • Undertake other ad hoc activities as required Essential Skills and Knowledge Required • Intermediate+ Desktop Publishing skills including the use of Adobe Creative Suite 5 and MS Office 2010 (Word and PowerPoint) • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills • Good research and evaluation skills • Good understanding of marketing principles and their role in a commercial enterprise • Good initiative skills and proactive approach • Able to work effectively within a team • Strong attention to detail To be successful in this role you will have 2+ years experience as a marketing professional within a services marketing background. You will be a consummate professional who can liaise with internal stake holders at all levels and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be accountable and customer centric and will be very proactive and hands on in your approach and have a strong team focus. Further, you will come from a corporate background within a large organisation, and a services background will be highly regarded. Lastly, you will be tertiary qualified within marketing or a related discipline.
