One of Victoria's leading and well known Non-Profit organisations has a vacancy for a Social Marketing Coordinator initially on a 6 month contract. Reporting to the Manager the key objective of this role is to raise community awareness through the development of campaigns and strategies that are based on social marketing principles. As the Social Marketing Coordinator your role will be to develop, coordinate and implement all aspects of the social marketing function including ongoing development and implementation of both state wide and targeted campaigns to raise community awareness and promote recruitment to the program. Through consultation with consumers and key program stakeholders including government bodies, you will plan, deliver and review campaigns, strategies and key messages. To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in developing, delivering and evaluating social marketing campaigns (including TV & Radio). Tertiary qualification in social marketing, commercial marketing public relations, journalism or other relevant qualifications or equivalent experience essential. Experience in resource, web site development/maintenance, exposure to the Non-Profit industry, Strong communication skills, capacity to think strategically with an ability to be innovative all desirable for this challenging yet rewarding role.
