key responsibilities will be as below:-
? Ensuring legislative requirements are being met by the Division.
? To recognise, evaluate and control occupational health and hygiene hazards in line with the site occupational hygiene program, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and Rio Tinto health standards
? To evaluate situations in the workplace and assess the risks to health arising from different factors (i.e. particulates, ventilation, noise, hazardous substances, radiation, thermal stress or Legionella)
? To provide necessary respiratory and hearing protection fit testing (500+ personnel every 2 years)
? To conduct audiometric testing and phase shift analysis that will identify personnel affected by hearing loss (500+ personnel every 2 years)
? Implementing site health and hygiene programmes to improve the health and mental wellbeing of employees at work and home.
