Our Client Rio Tinto Coal & Allied is looking for experienced Boilermakers for work their Mount Thorley mine site, as part of a Dragline Shutdown. The shutdown is scheduled to commence on 20th July 2016 and is approximately 20 days in length (individual roster duration may be shorter than this). There is a 34 day Shovel shutdown proceeding this.
The successful applicant will have a minimum 4+ years experience in Boilermaking/fabrication and must have experience with equipment including draglines, shovels & excavators. Welding codes preferable, and all work must be performed to x-ray standard.
Experience in a shutdown or mining environment is highly advantageous.
Independently judged Weld Tests must be attended and completed successfully prior to commencement of the role.
You must have a strong focus on safety in the work place, and you will have the following tickets or be will to obtain them:
* Certificate of Proficiency or TAFE Qualification and Craft Certificate or Certif
