Our client is an Australian leader in the world of sports and is constantly active in promoting it's brand through traditional and digital channels. The brand is synonymous with fun, irreverence, Australian culture quality products.
2011 was a big year for our client, seeing some huge growth in the digital team, & in particular User Experience talent across multimedia platforms. 2012 is promising to kick on even further, with more investment into people & products across the creative and digital teams.
We are now looking for a User Experience Researcher, to enable an increase in customer knowledge and hence giving rise to opportunities of better service & product offerings - staying ahead of the game. This is a role where you can have early involvement in digital projects & 'get under the skin' of the brand & it's audience.
Key Responsibilities: - Work with the UX team to create test plans that meet the needs of the project within constraints
- Work with stakeholders to extend the company knowledge of user-behaviour and preferences
- Advise on research methods - be the EXPERT!
- Conduct research projects including user workshops, remote testing, surveys, contextual investigations, etc
- Categorise & prioritise trends from extensive findings
- Report back research conclusions
- Collaborate with UX / Marketing team inputting research findings into core project development
- Understand validity & usefulness of research to the team
- Brief external research agencies (when required), ensuring high quality returns
Skills: - Extensive experience running a variety of research projects
- Strong working knowledge of user-centred design & the researchers role
- Communication skills when liaising with key stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously & be organised
- Appreciation of the world of sports
