As a test Analyst, your task will involve: - Configure, maintain and improve the test system facility
- Design, develop, maintain and execute test cases/plans
- Record and report metrics on the status of testing
- Design, execute and maintain test support software
- Develop, document, maintain and comply with test processes
- Generate and maintain documentation which supports the test process
- Formulate and recommend testing strategies/process improvements
- Prepare test reports for 3rd party suppliers and regulators
- Test the functioning of third party products when connected to the monitoring systems
- Work within an agile software environment
- Provide training in test processes and applications
To be successful in this role, you will have: - Completion or near completion of a bachelors degree in an IT discipline such as Software engineering
- Certification in ISQTB, or ability to acquire
- Ability to program in C#
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment under minimal supervision
- Good analytic problem solving skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Visual Studio
- Understanding of how a testing role fits into the software development life cycle
- Knowledge of testing processes and documentation deliverables such as test planning, test cases and incident tracking
- Working knowledge of operating systems, PC hardware, networks (LANs/WANs) and communications
- Knowledge of databases (SQL server) and database querying for the purpose of testing
- Knowledge of .Net, Visual Studio, WCF, WPF, Web Technologies
- Knowledge of gaming systems (optional)
