The Dynamics AX Functional Consultant realises results for customers through the application of specialised knowledge in a solution development discipline.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct workshops to elicit, document, analyse, and confirm business requirements.
- Design, validate and document target configurations in Dynamics AX to meet requirements.
- Perform gap-fit analysis to identify and document new custom functionality to be developed.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs and specifications will result in high-fit, high-quality customisations.
- Perform set-up and configuration of Dynamics AX to specification and to business requirements.
- Verify Dynamics AX configurations by preparing test documentation and conducting system tests.

Experience:
- 3+ years of experience with Dynamics AX (current version or 1 version prior).
- Involved in 2+ full-cycle Dynamics AX implementations.
- Have used a recognised ERP implementation methodology (eg Sure Step).
- Deep knowledge in at least one domain area (eg Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing).
- Industry qualifications in a specific domain area are highly desirable (eg CPA, APICS).
- Current certification in Dynamics AX is an advantage.
- Tertiary education in Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent.
- Those with experience in other Tier 1 or Tier 2 ERP system such as SAP, Epicor, Lawson M3, and Dynamics NAV are encouraged to apply.
