Our client delivers projects of enduring value across the mine, rail and port sectors. They are in the process of building a well respected and technically strong Mackay office for various coal projects. With a full order book through till 2015 they are continuing to experience year on year growth and have no plans on slowing down. 


They require a Control Systems Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience in mining, minerals processing and / or bulk materials handling, where you'll be reporting to the Lead Control Systems Engineer. You will be working within a team of engineer's of all levels where you'll be assisting with the estimation for proposals, working on specifications for proposals, testing and commissioning and be required to give technical and customer support.  

The suitable applicant will be able to demonstrate the following;

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Previous experience within the mining, minerals processing and / or bulk materials handling industries;
• Previous experience working on coal projects is highly regarded
• Posses exceptional skills in control systems software design
• Advance level of PLC configuration and programming as well as experience in SCADA configuration
