The Company
Due to continued growth, our client, a highly respected Engineering and EPCM company is currently looking to recruit a Study manager to strengthen their existing team based in Brisbane.
Involved on a diverse range of projects, their main emphasis is within the mining industry focusing on the metals and minerals space. They provide full cycle capabilities including project management, Front end studies, as well as detailed engineering,procurement, and construction management (EPCM) all the way through to commissioning and start up for existing plants.
Operating on a global basis,they are viewed as market leaders in providing EPCM services for advanced technology based resource projects with strong process design capabilities in the M+M industry.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Director, your role will be to plan,co-ordinate and control the execution of specific studies,bids and proposals leading a dedicated team. You will also be responsible for client development and ensuring that customer relations are always maintained.
Key Tasks will include
- Plan and control bids,studies and proposals
- Provide management guidance
- Client liaison
- Incorporate HSE initiatives into studies
- Interface and co-ordinate with all stakeholders
The Person
- Minimum of 10 years project engineering experience and 2.5 years in a project management role
- A background in Minerals (mining) or construction
- Bachelor of Engineering or similar
- Commercially Astute
- Good Organisational skills
- Ability to build and lead a team
- Effective decision maker
- Driven and ambitious
