Our client has emerged as a leading global intermediate gold producer and explorer with operational projects overseas and in Australia. They produce high grade gold deposits and are forecasting gold production to be over 600,000 ounces by 2013.


What they are currently seeking is a Tech Services Manager to fill their residential role just south of Kalgoorlie. You will be responsible for medium to long term planning reporting in to the General Manager. Other duties will include but are not limited to:


- Providing guidance to support long term planning
- Participate in feasibility studies for both open pit and underground mines
- Support and assist in developing mining engineers
- Provide technical input and feedback to exploration
- Preparing financial models for life of mine


The candidate will need to possess a key level of communication as reporting will need to be precise. A highly developed knowledge of both underground and surface mining is essential to this role. To be considered you will need the following:


- Tertiary qualification in Mine Engineering
- Ability to communicate across all levels
- Exposure to different mining methods
- Competent in the use of mining software applications
