Job Description
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for driving efficiencies within the Supply Chain operation with a particular focus on Warehouse Optimisation (3PLs), Transport Analysis and driving Supply Chain Process improvement initiatives. Working closely with the Business Unit, Account and Production Managers you will also be responsible for:
*Optimising the National Distribution network for all Warehousing and Transport activities
*Monitoring and managing 3PL relationships including; running account reviews, managing KPIs and identifying opportunities to improve service levels to the business.
*Evaluating the Transport function and putting forward recommendations to improve business performance as well as reducing costs.
*Contributing to the strategic direction of the ANZ Supply Chain, including the implementation of supply chain initiatives and managing projects.
In this broad and varied role, you will act as a key support to the Supply Chain Manager, with a focus on Process Improvement and Project Management.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a Supply Chain professional with expertise in Transport and Warehouse Analysis, ideally with experience in a chemical or manufacturing industry. With a strong analytical background and experience managing 3PL relationships, you will also possess:
*Experience managing supply chain process improvement projects
*Clear communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence
*High numerical and attention to detail skills and capability
*An understanding and interest in delivering supply chain best practice
*Tertiary Qualification in Business/Logistics
