Candidate
You are a qualified Electrical Engineer with an understanding and exposure to Protection and Secondary systems within HV Substation projects who wants to work for an organisation that offers long term stability and future growth. You want to take on a position of responsibility working on HV Electrical Substation Projects from 132kV to 220kV and you will show outstanding attention to detail. Position Description
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager your Protection Design knowledge, Protection philosophy, Protection settings calculations and ability to use DigSilent Powerfactory/PSS/E or PSCAD will be held in high regard. As the Protection design Engineer you will be responsible for producing deliverable specifications on Control and Protection systems of Transmission Substations. This will involve producing Protection and Secondary Systems line diagrams, reviewing customer specifications identifying potential conflicts, participating in Design reviews and provide expert Engineering advice and input. You will ensure that all resources are used appropriately and all aspects or your role are carried out to the highest level to ensure that delivery is on time and on budget.

Qualification/Requirements
You will have Australian recognised formal Electrical qualifications along with hands on experience in a similar role. You will also need to be competent with all of the aspects involved in HV Substation projects - document control, MS Project, design and onsite troubleshooting.
