Pipeline Engineer - Gathering Systems

Our client is a successful international consulting engineering firm with a reputation for excellence in all aspects of pipelining.  As part of planned, strategic growth and dedication to current and upcoming projects, we are now seeking experienced Pipeline Engineers - Gathering System to join our team based in Queensland, Australia.
 
We are looking for exceptional candidates with oil and gas pipeline project experience with 5-15 years of experience in working with gathering systems.  The roles are Brisbane based and will see the successful candidates being involved in pipeline and facilities projects in Australia and international locations.

The successful applicants will have experience in plastic pipeline design especially gathering systems through all phases of the project which include concept development, FEED, detail design and commissioning and will have knowledge of international standards.

Within this role you will:

• Have responsibility for the engineering and execution for packages;
• Be involved with procurement and construction contract packages;
• Oversee the quality of the engineering deliverables; 
• Be responsible for the implementation of the project engineering procedures; 
• Liaise with engineering and technical personnel to ensure project goals are met; 
• Manage the completion of performance and acceptance tests where required; 
• Prepare and issue weekly/monthly Progress reports; 
• Participate in site quality audits of the contractors and quality systems; 
• Liaise with other disciplines on design, construction, fabrication and commissioning issues.

Key Requirements:

• Degree qualified with 5-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry specifically within the area of gathering systems
• Excellent communication, time and cost management skills 
• Ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects
• Good technical capabilities
• Ability to work in a team environment to ensure successful project delivery
• An awareness with relevant Australian acts and regulations.
• Have the ability to manage complexities of a various range of projects.
