The Client An international manufacturer of special purpose equipment for the engineering industry is seeking a Project Manager to join their team. The Role The Project Manager will be working with Product managers, Production, Senior Management, Engineering management and Sales staff within the business with an ultimate goal of ensuring Projects are delivered on time, within budget, whilst enhancing the brand of the business to customers. Key Accountabilities Defining projects scopes, milestones and deliverables that support project goals in collaboration with senior management and the customer. Direct and manage project development from beginning to end using appropriate tools to deliver in an efficient, effective coordinated manner. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Monitor ongoing project costs and measure against budgets, recommend subsequent changes where necessary. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirement documentations and presentations to management and customers. Proactively manage changes in Project scope, identify potential delays, and devise contingency plans, notify relevant personnel and stakeholders of change to resources and additional costs. The Person Ideally degree qualified within engineering/manufacturing. Formal Project Management training Experience with Project Management software Leadership qualities, team ethos and someone who has innovative thought process.
