Responsibilities Include

The Senior Telecommunications Engineer
• Assures the proper design coordination and management for System level design of the telecommunication solutions including transmission networks, fixed and wireless solutions and auxiliary subsystems as NMS, telecommunications power, control centre equipment etc. Their main goal is to lead and complete all the design activities respecting the target of quality, time and costs set in assigned projects.

• Contributes to the achievement of the time schedule milestones (shared with project management) and to the achievement of the year budget target (shared with project management).

• Contributes in the definition of the standard system architecture of each telecommunication technology in order to reduce costs and implementation risks.

• Ensures compliance with all relevant health and safety procedure and policies and where applicable the end clients HSE and Environmental policies.

• Is expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of the company through new initiatives.


Your Experience

To successfully fulfil the role you will need to have Broad engineering knowledge and experience in coordination of complex technical projects ideally in a railway environment.
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience in telecommunication engineering field
• Minimum 5 years professional experience telecommunications engineering
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
• Good attention to details
• Team Leadership experience
