My client is a major engineering consultancy established over 30 years ago and located in the CBD. They are highly successful and provide services in the commercial construction, hospitality, civil, interior fit out, water, and health sectors. They have a strong capability in surveying in cadastral, construction and planning markets and have experienced significant growth in the past few years. They have a great retention rate with clients, and have a strong pipeline of work for the next few years.
Due to an increase in workload, they have created an immediate need for an experienced survey drafter to work within their cadastral team to carry out subdivisional drafting. You will work on a mix of site and office based work within a developed team of surveyors, drafters and planners in an environment that allows you to develop your skills and take a key post in the engineering sector.
They are looking for someone who is technically strong with AutoCAD, and has a proven understanding of subdivisional plans, and the ability to input site gathered calculations. Ideally they are looking for someone with asset recording experience, as well as cadastral surveying. They are seeking a well-rounded individual who has had a broad range of surveying experience. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills as you will be dealing directly with clients, surveyors and councils. The successful candidate with be career minded, with excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
