This Melbourne-based EPCM has offices worldwide and a total staff of over 60,000. With revenues of over $10 billion, they are one of the most successful and recognised EPCMs worldwide. Due to increased growth, they now required a Lead Designer in their Brisbane office.

The main responsibilities in this role will be:

• Allocating designer resources to ensure targets are met within budget and schedule
• Delegating layout, design, and detail drafting phases to staff
• Investigating and implementing new drafting techniques
• Liaise with outside draftspeople, sub-contractors, and clients
• Manage department costs and work flow

The ideal candidate for this role will be:

• Experienced within the drafting field, particularly relating to minerals processing and/or oil and gas facilities
• Formally qualified or trained in Mechanical Engineering and AutoCAD
• Able to foster and develop a strong team environment
• Skilled in prioritising and allocating resources and assignments
