Associate Director - Rail - VIC

My client is a global multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with offices in over 80 countries around the world. Their experience in engineering consulting includes a broad range of sectors such as transport, buildings, water, mining and environment. Their civil infrastructure experience includes a strong track record in rail, highways, ports, bridges, and land development with a 50 year history in Victoria alone. They have contributed to both freight and passenger rail solutions, always with a view to adding value whether they are involved in discrete project phases—such as developing concept design—or the full project lifecycle all the way to supporting operational diligence. The same approach is taken for their involvement with different project forms, ranging from high speed rail to mainline rail, metros, light rail and rail freight. They have also influenced the design and delivery of rail solutions at all levels, starting from sub-systems and extending to turnkey packages. This breadth of experience means that they have a comprehensive view of project success not only across cost criteria, but incorporating demand and environmental considerations and taking into account capacity to meet future needs.
