THE ROLE

The main duties of this Senior Mechanical Engineer include, but are not limited to the following:

· Project management/engineering and providing technical expertise to project team

· Planning and delivery of projects to satisfy the Quality Assurance standards, budgetary requirements and project brief

· Coordination with team members to ensure that all aspects of the project are assembled in a timely manner and that there is open communication between team members regarding modifications and developments

· Responsible for the completion of required activities to deliver projects including investigation, analysis and design in accordance with accepted practice and principles

· Liaising with clients to ensure the successful delivery of projects

· Participation in business development activities

· Assisting with marketing initiatives, providing bid support and ongoing development of the Mechanical Team

· Complete mechanical design work and review existing mechanical designs

· Prepare and review technical reports

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

As a result of significant recent projects being awarded to the group they offer outstanding career opportunities to experienced consulting design engineers at Senior Engineer level. You will have a background in mechanical building engineering consulting and >7 years experience working in a consulting engineering practice involved in design of intelligent building engineering solutions. They are looking for an individual who has experience with HVAC.

Naturally, you need to be up to date with appropriate Australian design codes and standards and enjoy working across a wide variety of projects at any time. Although the position is based in the company's Adelaide offices you will required to travel to site for client consultation and contractor meetings.
