We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Process Engineer to join their team
The successful applicant's main responsibilities will be:
- Collaborate with Product Engineering and fellow Manufacturing Engineers to develop processes for the Final Assembly area of vehicle manufacture
- Identify and resolve issues during the vehicle design phase, to achieve acceptable Design-For-Manufacturing outcomes (Safety / Quality / Cost)
- Identify and develop facility requirements to support vehicle assembly, that meet program Safety, Quality & Cost targets.
- Collaborate with plant representatives out-of-country, to ensure successful launch of new model programs into multiple plants
The ideal applicant would be a tertiary qualified engineer with a significant work history in the automotive industry. Experience in Process Engineering or Production in Final Assembly for an automotive OEM, or for an OE supplier to an automotive manufacturer , experience in Failure Mode Avoidance and Process Improvement would be an advantage ,the right candidate would have the ability to influence cross-functional teams, through development of business case with supporting data, and clear communication to management levels.
