Technical Officer Defence and Aerospace QLD

Kinetic Defence Services is Australia s Leading Supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace sectors. As a partner with some of the largest Defence projects in Australia, we currently have a position available for a Technical Officer to be based in QLD.

Our client is a global leader in the Defence and Aerospace sector and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a challenging and rewarding projects.

The role:

Undertake technical practitioner duties
Undertaking the repair, maintenance of complex systems
Provide technical assistance and support
Undertake as required; planned maintenance, corrective actions
Conduct testing and modifications activities
Supervise other staff including trainees and/or apprentices

Experience required:

Diploma in Technology (Communications, Software, Electronics, Radios etc)
Electrical Workers Licence
Cert IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor
First Aid Qualified (Desirable)
Proven problem solving and analytical skills
MUST be eligible for Defence Security Clearance / Australian Citizen

The ideal candidate will have electronics or avionics experience as well as Data Cabling experience. Candidates that do not meet all the requirements but have good experience in the Aerospace and/or defence sector should apply.
