A Pricing Analyst is needed for a large Telco business to perform customer value analytics and identify market opportunities. Working with market research teams, this role will ensure outcomes are incorporated into pricing activity and decision making. You will be required to turn customer data into customer knowledge. Given that this is a customer focused business, you will possess the ability to extract and manipulate data to ensure the strategies are based on informed decisions

This person will have a detailed understanding of data warehouse systems and will be expected to ensure that key data points required to complete customer and usage analytics are captured in the systems and extractable via SAS. This person will then provide insights to the data in a meaningful way, recognising fundamental patterns and present the findings to management in order to aid in making commercially sound pricing decisions.


Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Maths, Statistics or other related numerate disciplines
• Experience in data mining or knowledge discovery, data integration or data quality projects
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience
• SAS experience required. Advanced SAS user. Ability to write code in SAS and manipulate existing code to ensure the end outcome of the analysis is achieved.
• Proven experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling
• Some experience with data processing, flowcharting techniques
• Pricing Analysis experience
• A good knowledge of pricing related processes, capabilities and sources of data for price development
• 2+ years pricing experience required
• Telco experience
