Our client, a leader in it field globally, is seeking an astute Purchasing and Procurement officer to join the Corporate Services Purchasing and Procurement Team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the position will include;
Interface between National Purchasing and Procurement, Branch based buyers and accounts payable for all company related purchasing and procurement processing activities.
Provide ongoing support to members of the purchasing and procurement team for all day to day functions.
Provide reporting to management on key areas of expense within the company.
The successful applicant will possess the following attributes;
A minimum of 4 years administration/clerical experience.
Demonstrated ability to maintain complex financial records and compile reports.
Exceptional time management skills
Great communication skills
Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel). Experience in one of the major financial software products (e.g. Oracle, Baan, SAP, etc.) would be an asset
Certificate level qualifications in accounting, administration or a business related discipline.
