Our client is a Christian Not for Profit organisation dedicated to providing overseas relief in developing countries.

An immediate need has arisen for a competent Financial Accountant to join this organisation in a temporary capacity. The role is due to commence ASAP in order to allow for a thorough handover with the current incumbent. The role is required for at least the next 2 months, and there is a strong possibility the role will be extended further following that period.

The role will incorporate the following tasks:

o BAS / GST / PAYG
o Bank reconciliations
o General Ledger
o Cash management
o Preparation of financial reports
o Payroll processing (monthly, for 9 staff)

You do not need to be CA / CPA qualified to be considered for this position, however you will need to demonstrate previous experience working within a stand alone role. In addition to this, the successful candidate will need to be highly competent with MYOB, be highly IT literate, be comfortable working within a small team environment, and have a flexible work attitude!
