Our client, a well established electrical contracting business, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a critical role within the organisation and is responsible for managing the accounts function, providing accounting and financial reporting to the Senior Management Team, in addition to managing all office operations and procedures to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Include: - Accounts Payable - Accounts Receivable - Payroll - Bank Reconciliations - Monthly Review & Analysis - Financial Reporting - Compliance - Fleet Management To be considered for this opportunity you will have a relevant Tafe and/or Tertiary Accounting Qualification with previous exposure in a comparable business environment. You will have demonstrated hands on experience managing complex reconciliations, retention and progress payments, along with advanced working knowledge of MYOB and Microsoft Excel. Imperative to your success will be your proactive, open and communicative approach in keeping Management informed of debtors and current cash flow status, as well as having a shared passion and vision for the business. The successful candidate will also be an honest and ethical individual and someone with the highest personal and professional integrity.
