Reporting to the Team Leader, your primary responsibilities will include the processing of all new customer credit applications, performing credit checks, processing daily payments, following up outstanding debts, generating invoices, as well as reconciling accounts. You will also be required to perform fortnightly reviews of all customer accounts and carry out any other ad hoc duties where required. An opportunity has arisen in one of the leading financial services environments in Sydney. A senior Accounts Receivable clerk is required to become an integral part of this dynamic firm. The successful candidate will work closely with the customer service manager and be responsible for the timely and accurate application of monies received, including the reconciliation of future receivables and arrears positions with the vendors. You will also be responsible for following up on overdue accounts, liaising with the collections and recoveries manager to report on outstanding payments, invoicing, reconciliation and payment allocation as well as general customer queries including payout quotes, refunds and back up for staff in other departments when necessary.
