The Company One of Australia’s leading providers of engineering and infrastructure services is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their Finance team located in Parramatta. This multinational organisation has anticipated large growths for 2012 with multiple world class projects underway across various market sectors. Joining a small, supportive team, this temporary role is available with a two week hand over period and training. The Role Reporting directly to the Management Accountant, your role will encompass a wide variety of tasks. Your key responsibilities will include processing invoices and payments, managing work in progress reports, generating purchase orders and some cash collection. You will be assisting with month end journals, preparing financial reports, and collating data for budget reporting. You will assist with the preparation of annual FBT returns, consolidate payroll information for processing and ensure monthly stocks are processed accurately. Your Profile You will have solid experience in a similar position with a strong Accounts Payable and costing background. To be successful in this role you will have a hands on approach to your work and the ability to keep up in a fast paced environment. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will allow you to liaise with people at all levels of business comfortably and build strong working relationships. You have a high attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines at all times. Advanced Excel skills are a must as this is where a major part of your work is done. Previous experience working with JDE is highly regarded.
