As part of a major transformation program, this well known Melbourne business is overhauling its Management Information and Business Intelligence framework and wishes to appoint an outcome focused BI professional to drive the streamlining and integration of reporting capabilities across the group. The role will play a key role in the design and delivery of an integrated BI solution intended to unify reporting systems and enable elevated reporting and planning activities to take place. The role will also play a key role in formulating a longer term BI strategy intended to support strategic business objectives.

Working within the group executive function, key aspects of this role will include:

• Defining and setting the group wide BI strategy and aligning this with key business drivers and the needs of a diverse range of stakeholders;
• Creating a robust framework for the delivery of projects within the broader program;
• Business case creation and review;
• Writing functional specifications;
• Acting as the conduit between the business and technical delivery teams; and
• Driving the implementation of a major ERP within a division of the business and integrating this with the group BI platform.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in a similar role where they have lead a transformation in business intelligence solutions with a finance footprint in an environment utilising a major ERP (SAP is preferable). With strong engagement skills and the ability to gain consensus and drive outcomes across a broad stakeholder group, you will possess superior business partnering and influencing skills. Robust project management skills will also be essential in order to ensure smooth and cost effective delivery of the solution.
