Due to the current incumbent undertaking maternity leave, an opportunity now exists for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the current team.
In this position you will be assisting in the financial and statutory accounting within the business and be responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. You will also be involved in the reconciliations of bank accounts, debtors/creditors and intercompany accounts as well as this you will be preparing accounts to trial balance. Further to this you will assist in FBT, GST and BAS.
An excellent opportunity is on offer for the right individual. To be successful in this role you will be have at least 2 years accounting experience within a large commercial company and have completed or be studying towards your CPA or CA.
