1. What was your first job?
My first job was working in a cane furniture factory. It was hell on my hands, but the owner, a musician himself, advanced me wages to buy my first decent guitar.

2. What did you want to be when you grew up?
A physio therapist and musician- it's either music or medicine in my family.

3. What does your job involve now?
Touring, writing, recording, engineering, mixing, producing-a few hats- all musical.

4. Are you thinking of trying your hand in anything else?
Not a lot of time-being o.c.d with music- I would like to try the visual arts side of things.

5. What is the biggest challenge you face at work?
Leaving my house to tour-I hate leaving home!!

6. What is the best part of your job?
Getting to play to people who are listening- very gratifying, getting to plug an electric guitar in!

7. What is your advice for people starting out in your industry?
Enjoy the process- the music industry is full of clichés, probably best you make sure early on you really love the music - that may be all you end up with, look after the music and it will look after you.

8. What makes you happy?
Knowing I’m doing what I want to do- when I was little I'd draw pictures of stages with all the gear set up. I think I drew myself into those pictures!- It's a good feeling knowing I provide escapism that isn't going to kill you to people, we all need some of that!
