How to use My Desk
‘My Desk’ is where you can place ads, track candidates, establish ‘My Broadcast’ etc. It is your complete control centre. The up-to-date results of Rate the Advertiser will be visible in ‘My Desk’.

You will need to ensure cookies are enabled on your computer. Cookies are small files that are stored by this site and other websites on your computer. How do we use advertisers details
We are very protective of your company details and as such will not share any of this data with any third parties.

What we will do is enhance the opportunity to promote your brand or company on the basis of the information you have provided. For example if you have indicated that you are in or recruiting for FMCG or Marketing for example, we will ensure that you get information relevant to FMCG or Marketing. Furthermore, we will give you the opportunity to promote to the best candidates, through a variety of media (including video, blog, links, seminars & events etc.). My Job Ads
Within this section you can create, edit and view live, pending and archived job ads. You will also have a comprehensive statistical representation specific to your ads.

My Comms Centre
This is a secure two-way communication between candidates and the advertiser which eliminates the need to use your own email address. All correspondence can be archived for your subsequent use and follow up.

My Applications
My Applications gives you quick reference to all applications received, your subsequent next steps with each of those applications (including shortlisted, rejected, bookmarked etc) and any relevant communication with those applicants.

My Accounts
This is the area of ‘My Desk’ where you can set up sub-accounts, change password, view account history, payments and other details. When you decide to register with us, you will be asked for some basic company and individual details in order to establish your account. You will be asked to validate your account by clicking on a link sent to you via email. All these details are now housed within ‘My Desk’.

My Broadcast - Advertiser
This site has been created to enable your organisation to build a public employer profile on our site. This is called ‘My Broadcast’. You can use ‘My Broadcast’ to highlight your company’s unique culture, employee benefits, market positioning, brand, profile as an employer, etc. ‘My Broadcast’ is a bit like the advertiser equivalent of MySpace. It gives you the ability to broadcast your company to the wide pool of talent registered on this site.

There are many ways you can use ‘My Broadcast’:

A candidate searching for a marketing role, who does some research through our database of video’s may come across your company where they may not previously have known your brand. Within ‘My Desk’, you will be able to set up and manage a dynamic network of clients, candidates, colleagues, mentors, friends, peers and other relevant parties. Changing My Broadcast - advertiser
We recommend that you keep ‘My Broadcast’ as up to date as possible. It will increase your chances of promoting your brand to talent. At any point in time, you can change any of the information or content by logging in to the site.

De-activating My Broadcast - advertiser
We recommend that you never remove your details, but rather change your information as required. This site should be used as more than just a way to advertise for your next employee. It should be used to grow your candidate network, to gain exposure as a brand, to grow your visibility etc.
