Understanding job descriptions
Please take the time to review and understand the job description before applying. It will increase your chances of getting the right job for you. The more you know about the job, the better chance you have of getting your application right.

Don’t be afraid to call the advertiser to get additional information and have a chat about the role and the organisation. You can find out a lot in one phone call.

Remember that advertisers, including recruiters, keep details of every written application made. The more written applications you make that are not relevant, the less likely you are to gain a favourable response. Don’t apply for every role you see. Job hunting isn’t simply a numbers game. Make sure the role is what you are really after before you apply.
