JOBX are the first to include ‘industry’ as a criteria to include in your job search.

An industry is a segment of the economy concerned with production of specific goods or services.

There are many different kinds of industries, and they are usually divided into different classes or sectors. Primary industries are those concerned with agriculture, (such as farming, forestry etc), fishing and mining. Secondary industries are those involved in manufacturing. Tertiary industries are those involved in the provision of some form of service.

To help you work out what each of the different industries are and give you more information on what they do, the JOBX wiki contains explanations of over a hundred of them.
